In late 2015, Paul Nimz was named executive director at Life Care Center of Puyallup, Washington.
Nimz had served as a nursing home administrator since 1998. Most recently, he led operations at Riverside Nursing and Rehab Center in Centralia, Washington. Prior to that appointment, he was an administrator at Tacoma Nursing and Rehab Center in Tacoma.
“I love being able to be in the presence of living history,” said Nimz. “The people who saw us through so much in our history are still living today, and we have the privilege to care for them.”
Nimz also has experience as an activity aide and counselor.
“Paul’s vast experience provides our center a foundation to continue to build off of, offering knowledge, compassion and expertise in serving our residents, families and community,” said Stephanie Bonanzino, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Cascades Region.
Originally from Los Angeles, Nimz earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. He currently resides in Puyallup with his significant other, Suzanne, and his stepson. He also has two sons.
