Elany Kisner, certified nursing assistant at Life Care Center of Sandpoint, Idaho, received Life Care Centers of America’s 2012 Northwest Division Whatever It Takes And Then Some Award for her devotion to customer service and extraordinary kindness. Kisner’s dedication to her facility’s residents and patients extends beyond her job. After discovering a blind resident was attempting to compose a song for his wife, Kisner helped him write down the song. At his birthday party, she sang the song for him, his wife and their guests. She then recorded the song so the couple would always have it to keep and listen to.
Her story is just one of many tales of exceptional customer service and care found throughout our nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.
