In September 2014, Patty Martinez, unit manager at Life Care Center of Valley View in Boise, Idaho, received Life Care Centers of America's 2013 Northwest Division Whatever It Takes And Then Some Award for her commitment to customer service. Martinez's dedication to her facility's residents and patients extends well beyond her job. When it was time for a female resident to leave the facility, she worked hard to secure the resident's new living arrangements, schedule doctors' appointments and help her acquire financial assistance. She even took personal time and accompanied the resident to the new house to help her readjust to living independently.
Her story is just one of many tales of exceptional customer service and care found throughout our skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers.
