In September 2015, Christine Johnson, licensed practical nurse at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls, Idaho, received Life Care Centers of America's 2014 Northwest Division Whatever It Takes And Then Some Award for her generosity. Johnson's dedication to her facility's residents and patients extends well beyond her job. When she found out a long-term resident was a big fan of country music artist Martina McBride, Johnson wanted to give him an unforgettable memory. She used her personal time to get tickets to a nearby concert, even securing backstage passes. She also accompanied the resident to the concert, where he was able to meet McBride and take a photo with her.
Johnson's story is just one of many tales of exceptional customer service and care found throughout our skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers.
